Beyonce Knowles Most Influential Artist Essay Beyonce Knowles is a singer, dancer, songwriter, and actress. She has went from a great lead singer (Destinys Child) to a phenomenal solo artist. She has sold over 75 million records worldwide. VH1 ranked her the three greatest women in music in 2012. Her net worth alone is about $450 million. Though these are all important facts, nothing is more important than Beyonce being the most influential artist of the 21st century. Yes, there are a lot of artist that have touched plenty of peopleââ¬â¢s lives but not like she has, especially with her wide fan base. It is very hard finding a good artist that speaks to your every emotion and as a person is not a bad role model. Women in the music industry tend to try to please the media and stay relevant by changing who they are, sometimes ruining why their fans enjoyed their work. Music Empowers Foundation stated that ââ¬Å"involvement in music leads to positive personal, social and motivational effects. â⬠Beyonceââ¬â¢s music is known to captivate her audience, no matter whether the song is happy, sad, angry, or any other emotion she portrayed. Many people use music for their own personal therapy. There are so many different genres of music and millions of different songs to fit every mood anyone could possibly feel. There are not many artist that you actually feel that exact emotion that they are feeling. Music is so powerful that even if you are in a certain mood it can change that as soon as you hear a song. Beyonce writes and sings songs that touch her fan base because her songs are about emotions most of us feel a lot going throughout life. Beyonceââ¬â¢s voice has the power for healing your heart and empowering your spirit. When people think of women they usually jump to equality between men and women. This is right, but it is so much more than simply that. Women Empowerment is for the encouragement of women to be more that what society has made acceptable for women to behave and dress like. It is also to build confidence in women to be more than what they thought was possible. When people think of making history and being an unstoppable person they mostly think of men. It is very important to have artist like her to empower young girls and women to reach their full potential. Many people use her music for therapy and not many artists can ever come close to achieving what she has.
